Hi, my name is Christy. I am passionate about supporting people who want a safe place to process their emotions and lived experiences. Whether you are coping with memories from the past or are experiencing a current life transition, I will meet you with where you are at. I believe that your feelings, thoughts, and coping mechanisms make sense in the context of your lived experience. You have found a way to survive and cope; that is resilience and strength. As you find healing, you can slowly free the protective mechanisms from their job, if you desire. But I truly hold unconditional respect for every client’s strength. I also believe healing occurs when you feel truly seen and valued. You deserve to be not only accepted, but genuinely valued, affirmed, and profoundly respected. Your emotions and experiences matter.

I believe in taking a collaborative approach to therapy. At the core of my work is a deep belief in relational healing. Feeling Safe, respected, and valued are core human needs. You deserve to feel this within the therapy room. Depending on your goals and preferences, we can also integrate several other modalities into therapy. I modify my approach to serve your unique needs and preferences. I am also LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirming.
